Cadillac says CTS Coupe 'unqualified success'

The sport coupe is a force in Cadillac’s overall ongoing gains in consumer image in a segment that previously consisted of only well-established European luxury sport models.

Ford investigates surface defects not seen by the naked eye

Kelley Blue Book's online site wins award

Goodyear, NASCAR renew tire supplier agreement

(October 12, 2011) AKRON, Ohio — The Goodyear Tire & Rubber Company and NASCAR have announced the signing of an extended agreement for Goodyear to continue as the exclusive tire used in NASCAR's top three racing series for the next five years. 

The agreement, which extends through the 2017 season, renews Goodyear as the "Exclusive Tire Supplier" of NASCAR's Sprint Cup Series, the NASCAR Nationwide Series and the NASCAR Camping World Truck Series. 

Porsche urban bicycles combine performance, ride-anywhere capability

New 36-gallon fuel tank gives Ford F-150 up to 756-mile range

(October 11, 2011) DALLAS — With its new standard 36-gallon fuel tank, the 2012 Ford F-150 EcoBoost pickup can drive nearly the entire length of California — from Oregon to Mexico — on one tank of gas.

Responding to customer demand, F-150 EcoBoost now has a driving range of 756 miles between fill-ups. That long-distance highway cruising range is designed to save F-150 drivers time by reducing stops for fuel.

Subaru to offer satellite radio on all 2012 models

(October 10, 2011) NEW YORK — Sirius XM Radio and Subaru of America today announced that Subaru will offer satellite radio on all models beginning with 2012 model year vehicles. Additionally, all 2012 model year Legacy and Outback Limited models will come standard with factory-installed satellite radio.

All Subaru customers purchasing new satellite radio-equipped vehicles will automatically receive a 4-month trial subscription to the XM Select package which includes more than 130 channels of commercial-free music, premier sports, news, talk and comedy from SiriusXM.

Chevrolet Identifies 16 carbon-reduction projects

(October 9, 2011) DETROIT — Chevrolet is helping support 16 projects across America — from biomass to wind turbines — as part of its commitment to spend up to $40 million on carbon reduction. The agreements account for half of Chevrolet’s goal of preventing up to 8 million metric tons of carbon dioxide from entering the air during the next five years.
