Tesla energizes West Coast supercharger corridor

(October 30, 2013) PALO ALTO, Calif. — Tesla Motors today announced the opening of the West Coast Supercharger Corridor, energizing a network of stations that enable Model S owners to travel for free between San Diego, Calif.,and Vancouver, British Columbia.

With stations along U.S. Highway 101 and Interstate 5, the West Coast’s key routes, cities and destinations are connected by Tesla Superchargers.

2014 Ford Fiesta 1.0-liter will be most fuel-efficient non-hybrid in U.S.

(October 30, 2013) The new Ford Fiesta equipped with the award-winning 1.0-liter EcoBoost engine will be America’s most fuel-efficient non-hybrid, gasoline-powered car with a certified 45 mpg rating on the highway, topping Honda Fit by 12 mpg and Toyota Yaris by 8 mpg on the highway.  

The U.S. Environmental Protection Agency has certified the 2014 EcoBoost-powered Ford Fiesta, arriving at dealers later this year, at 45 mpg highway.

All-new 2014 Jeep Cherokee advertising campaign debuts

(October 29, 2013) AUBURN HILLS, Mich. — The Jeep brand debuted its “Built Free” marketing and advertising campaign on Monday, Oct. 28, to herald the return of the Cherokee to the Jeep vehicle lineup for the 2014 model year.

The campaign launched in the U.S. with a 60-second commercial running across national broadcast and cable television, and includes in-theater, print, digital, social and experiential extensions. A 30-second spot will begin running across broadcast and cable on Monday, Nov. 11. The all-new 2014 Jeep Cherokee is in dealerships this month.
