Ford uses Allen Park climatic wind tunnel to prepare vehicles for winter

(November 14, 2015) DEARBORN, Mich. — With Old Man Winter on his way, Ford vehicles are ready to meet the harsh demands of extreme cold and heavy snow. That, in large part, is thanks to the company’s climatic wind tunnel, which tests the winter-readiness and reliability of Ford vehicles in blizzard-like conditions. Ford moved snow testing to the Allen Park, Mich., facility in 2006.

Mitsubish to auction Lancer Evolution Final Edition #1 for charity

(November 13, 2015) Mitsubishi Motors North America, title sponsor of the 29th annual MS Dinner Auction, has announced a national auction of the very first Mitsubishi Lancer Evolution Final Edition, 1 of 1,600 produced, to raise money for the National Multiple Sclerosis Society.

In order to make the vehicle available to collectors across the country and raise as much money possible, the auction went live 10 days in advance on Nov. 11 on eBay. Bidding will conclude Nov. 21 at the MS Dinner Auction at the Loews Coronado Bay Resort in Coronado, Calif.

Nissan 'Color Studio' personalization expands to Versa Note

Jaguar to introduce new entry-level F-Type for 2017

(November 13, 2015) Jaguar North America has announced it will expand the price range of the F-Type lineup in the U.S. for the 2017 model year to include new entry-level coupe and convertible models which lower the introductory price of the F-Type coupe and convertible to $61,4001 and $65,4001 respectively.

The 2017 line-up
of Jaguar sports cars will continue to consist of the F-Type, F-Type S and the range topping F-Type R.

October another record month for BMW Group sales worldwide

(November 12, 2015) MUNICH — Following on from the best ever first three quarters in the company’s sales history, October was another record month for BMW Group deliveries. Sales of BMW, Mini and Rolls-Royce brand vehicles totaled 191,651 for the month, an increase of 4% compared with the same period last year. In the first 10 months of the year, total sales of BMW Group vehicles increased by 7.1%.

“Our sales continue to grow steadily in all regions of the world, despite ongoing volatility in some markets,” said Ian Robertson, member of the Board of Management of BMW AG, Sales and Marketing BMW.

Honda to debut 2016 Civic Coupe, next-generation fuel cell car at L.A.

(November 12, 2015) TORRANCE, Calif. — Honda will debut the all-new 2016 Civic Coupe, the second in a line of new 10th-generation Civic models that will be launching over the next 18 months, and the all-new Honda Clarity Fuel Cell sedan, providing an early look at Honda's next-generation approach to low-carbon mobility, scheduled to launch in the U.S. next year, at the Los Angeles Auto Show next week.
