Ford suit helps teach the dangerous effects of driving under the influence

(November 23, 2015) DEARBORN, Mich. — Ford has created a unique suit to dramatically teach young people about the dangers of driving under the influence of illegal drugs.

Ford developed the suit together with scientists from the respected Meyer-Hentschel Institute in Germany to simulate some of the effects of drugs such as cannabis, cocaine, heroin, and MDMA (commonly known as Ecstasy); including slower reaction time, distorted vision, hand tremors and poor coordination.

Nissan exceeds 500 electric taxi milestone in Europe

Audi declares at least 25% U.S. sales electric vehicles by 2025

2017 Lincoln MKZ gets 400 horsepower, new grille treatment

2005 Ford GT brings highest price at Mecum's Anaheim auction

(November 20, 2015) WALWORTH, Wis. — The Mecum Anaheim 2015 auction held Nov. 12-14 at the Anaheim Convention Center in California achieved $13,853,225 in total sales as 416 cars hammered sold throughout the three-day event.

Held annually since 2012, the Southern California auction has established itself as an important part of the Mecum Auctions’ calendar. Plans to return in 2016 for the fifth-annual event are already in place with dates set for Nov. 17-19.
