At its heart is the supercharged 6.2-liter HEMI high-output V-8 engine, derived from the record-setting 2018 Challenger SRT Demon and rated at 797 horsepower and 707 lb.-ft. of torque, making the Challenger SRT Hellcat Redeye the most powerful, quickest and fastest muscle car.

First Polestar 1 prototype cars start production

Produced for a number of purposes including crash tests, weather testing and on-road assessment, the VP cars form the very first fleet of Polestar 1 cars on the road.

Hyundai introduces second N performance car to European market

(October 4, 2018) — Hyundai Motor is extending its N range with the All-New Hyundai i30 Fastback N, offering the second high-performance model for the European market. The new vehicle is the first five-door hot coupe in the C segment. Honda joins with Cruise and General Motors to build autonomous vehicles

(October 3, 2018) SAN FRANCISCO — Cruise and General Motors announced today that they have joined forces with Honda to pursue the shared goal of transforming mobility through the large-scale deployment of autonomous vehicle technology.

Honda will work jointly with Cruise and General Motors to fund and develop a purpose-built autonomous vehicle for Cruise that can serve a wide variety of use cases and be manufactured at high volume for global deployment. In addition, Cruise, General Motors and Honda will explore global opportunities for commercial deployment of the Cruise network.

FCA outsells Ford in September; most automakers post lower numbers

(October 3, 2018) Major automakers posted lower sales in September compared to the same month in 2017, and for the first time since 2015, Fiat Chrysler Automobiles outsold Ford Motor Company. FCA's sales were up 14.7 percent over last year at 199,819. Ford was off 11.3 percent slipping to 196,496 sales in September.

Overall, U.S. light-vehicle deliveries last month fell about 5.6 percent, slightly better than analysts' forecast for a 7 percent decline compared to September 2017, when sales spiked as consumers replaced vehicles destroyed by Hurricane Harvey.

The fourth generation Chevrolet Camaro (1993-2002) remained unchanged from 1993 through 1997 with exterior styling changes coming in 1998. The standard engine from 1993-95 was a 3.4-liter V-6. A 3.8-liter V-6 was introduced for the 1995 model year, and a small block V-8 was standard in the Z28 trim level. The Camaro came with a four-speed automatic or a five-speed manual transmission.
