Five-decade old Riviera in Utah



The Buick Riviera was marketed by General Motors as a "personal luxury car" from 1963 through 1999. This second-generation Riviera — circa 1970 — was found in Utah in what looks like restorable condition. The second-gen Riviera could be purchased with three sizes of V-8 engines mated to a 3-speed automatic transmission.

Stellantis announces investment, plans for Trenton engine complex



(July 1, 2022) AUBUN HILLS, Mich. — Stellantis has announced plans for the two facilities that comprise its engine complex in Trenton, Mich., which will provide maximum flexibility for the operation. The plan includes a $24.7 million investment to retool the south plant to be a flexible engine line, capable of producing the two variations of the 3.6-liter Pentastar V-6 engine.

"There's no plan engineering's working on for replacing it, updating it," a source briefed on the matter told Automotive News. "It's dead."
