Formerly owned by the late famed actor Paul Walker of the “Fast and Furious” film franchise, a 1973 Porsche 911 Carrera RS 2.7 that is one of a mere 1,580 produced is among the lead offerings in Monterey. The car was a standout among Walker’s personal collection, and he even recounted the story of its purchase to Jay Leno during an airing of “The Tonight Show” in 2011.

Also bound for the Monterey block is the main-attraction collection of four prototype Ferraris, which includes a 2011 LaFerrari Prototype M4, a 2012 LaFerrari Prototype MP1, a 2014 LaFerrari Prototype PS1 and a 2014 F12tdf Prototype MP4, all of which are undoubtedly among the rarest Ferraris in the world and present a unique opportunity for Ferrari aficionados to acquire a historic and exclusive piece crafted by the masters in the art of automotive engineering.

From the prewar era of revered classic cars comes The Greg Dawson Marmon Sixteen Collection, led by a multiple award-winning 1931 Marmon Sixteen Convertible Coupe that is the product of an eight-year restoration by Bill Godisak's Sun Ray Restorations.

Other award-winning Sun Ray-restored Marmons in the collection include a 1931 Marmon Sixteen Convertible Sedan, one of approximately 10 remaining, a 1931 Marmon Sixteen Limousine believed to be the only remaining example with roll-down privacy glass division, and one of the approximately five remaining Marmon Sixteen Victoria Coupes: a 1932 model.

A Ferrari Classiche Red Book factory-certified and meticulously restored 1958 Ferrari 250 GT 'Tour de France' Alloy Berlinetta will also cross the auction block, as will a 1990 Ferrari F40, a 98-mile 2015 Ferrari 458 Speciale Aperta and a one-of-15 2020 McLaren Sabre, to name just a few.

Consignment positions are limited to 600 entries, and those wishing to participate in this year’s Monterey Daytime Auction event are highly encouraged to submit a Request for Position form now for optimal placement in the auction lineup and to take full advantage of advance marketing opportunities. Bidder registration starts at $100 and can be completed online and on-site at the auction. For those unable to attend in person, enhanced remote bidding options are available.
