Mercedes-Benz expands charging options for customers



(July 10, 2023) STUTTGART, Germany — Mercedes-Benz drivers can use Tesla Superchargers in North America starting in 2024, following a customer-focused approach to scale electric vehicles based on a superior product experience and full access to all major charging networks. Mercedes-Benz will be the first German OEM to implement NACS ports into its new electric vehicles starting in 2025.

Dodge presented a completely redesigned line of trucks in 1939. This design ran through 1947 known as the T series (1939), the V series (1940) and the W series (1941-1947). Six different payload classes, a wide range of bodies, and 20 different wheelbase lengths were offered. This 1940-1941 relic was found in Texas.

Volkswagen launches its first autonomous driving test program in U.S.

(July 7, 2023) HERNDON, Va. — Volkswagen Group of America is starting its first autonomous vehicle test program in Austin beginning this month. The company will kick off its program with a batch of 10 all-electric ID. Buzz vehicles outfitted with an autonomous driving (AD) technology platform developed by the global Volkswagen Group in partnership with technology company Mobileye.

Teaser image confirms Toyota Land Cruiser to return



(July 6, 2023) Toyota has released the first images previewing the return of the Land Cruiser nameplate to the U.S. this year. They show the silhouetted — but still officially unidentified — four-door SUV parked nose-to-nose with a first-generation Land Cruiser. The Land Cruiser was the one Toyota nameplate that survived the company's entry into the U.S. market in 1958 and remained in the lineup until 2021.

The STLA Medium platform offers long range combined with designed-in flexibility to host a variety of vehicles and propulsion configurations in the heart of the market, the C- and D-segments, which accounted for 35 million sales in 2022 — nearly half the 78.5 million vehicles sold globally that year.
