Infiniti QX30 premium crossover set to go on sale in mid-2016

(December 31, 2015) NASHVILLE, Tenn. — Infiniti has announced the line-up of its all-new QX30 premium active crossover for the United States and Canada.

While sharing basic exterior and interior designs, the QX30 line will be offered in three unique versions, each with its own front and rear fascia, wheel design and interior themes.

Silverado ad showcases Chevrolet leadership in connectivity

(December 31, 2015) DETROIT – Chevrolet has sold more than 1.4 million vehicles with 4G LTE connectivity since June 2014, exceeding the total sold by of the rest of the industry combined. That number includes more than 500,000 Chevrolet Silverado, Silverado HD and Colorado trucks.

Today, Chevrolet will introduce a new television spot showcasing the benefits of OnStar 4G LTE connectivity on Silverado. “Mobile Office” continues the “Real People, Not Actors” campaign, offering customers a choice between two mobile offices — a Silverado with OnStar 4G LTE or a competitive vehicle without.

Refreshed 2016 Nissan Sentra to start at $16,780

GM performance vehicles to be featured at Barrett-Jackson auction

Forsaken Corvair



The 1960 Chevrolet Corvair was a revolutionary new design from General Motors, the only mass-produced American car to feature a rear-mounted air-cooled engine. The Corvair was produced from 1960 through 1969 and included a two-door coupe, convertible, four-door sedan and four-door station wagon. This forsaken copy was discovered living among trash and debris in a junk yard.

1,500 collectible signs and memorabilia items up for auction in Kissimmee

(December 29, 2015) On Jan. 15 Mecum Auctions will commence its Road Art sale in Kissimmee, Fla., with roughly 1,500 pieces on offer through Jan. 24. It will prove to be one of the largest automobilia and petroliana sales of the year, anywhere.

Major, well-known collectors will be presenting their collections of signs, neons, pumps and oilers for sale, many for the first time in decades, most original and in near-mint to mint condition.

Mitsubishi achieves five million vehicle sales in U.S.

(December 29, 2015) Mitsubishi North America announced today it achieved five million vehicle sales in the United States on Saturday, Dec. 26. Mitsubishi was introduced in America in 1982 and began selling three models: the Tredia, Cordia and Starion sedans. Since then, the brand has gone on to manufacture and sell popular vehicles such as the 3000GT, Eclipse, Montero, Galant and the recently retired Lancer Evolution.

FCA recalling 60,107 Jeep crossovers to check on hose clamp

(December 28, 2015) AUBURN HILLS, Mich. — Fiat Chrysler Automobiles is voluntarily recalling an estimated 60,107 SUVs in the U.S. to inspect and reposition, as needed, a clamp that secures a low-pressure return hose.
 
An FCA US investigation discovered clamps in some vehicles produced during a five-month period this year may be out of position. This may allow rapid loss of power steering fluid. Leakage onto a hot surface may pose a potential fire hazard. The company is unaware of any related injuries or accidents.
 

Chevrolet Trax crosses to the dark side

(December 28, 2015) DETROIT — Chevrolet has announced the 2016 Trax Midnight Edition — a blacked-out styling statement for the small SUV, offering customers a bold choice and adding to the momentum of the brand’s record 2015 crossover sales.

Based on the LTZ trim, the Midnight Edition features black wheels, bezels, beltline molding and door handles, along with a black rear license plate appliqué. Inside, the seats are trimmed with gray accents and the floor mats feature gray piping.
