Polestar software upgrade delivers more rear-wheel torque to Volvos

(August 16, 2018) Volvo Cars has introduced a new Polestar-developed software upgrade that increases torque distribution to the rear wheels of Volvo cars equipped with all-wheel drive (AWD), for more dynamic driving.

The optimization software, developed by Volvo Car Group’s new electric performance brand, Polestar, increases the amount and frequency of torque distributed to the rear wheels, improving steering with enhanced turn-in, better control and engagement when cornering, and improved traction when pulling away, delivering a more engaging drive.

Squad of high-performance driving engineers helps make all Ford cars better

Nissan announces 2019 Sentra to start at $18,685

(August 15, 2018) NASHVILLE, Tenn. – Nissan today announced U.S. pricing for the 2019 Nissan Sentra, which is on sale now at Nissan dealers nationwide. For the 2019 model year, all Sentra grades (except Sentra S) receive standard NissanConnect with Apple CarPlay and Android Auto.

The new Sentra will start at $18,685 including destination charge for the Sentra S with 6-speed manual transmission. That represents an $850 price hike over the base 2018 model.

Chevrolet introduces Tahoe and Suburban Premier Plus with 6.2L engine

(August 13, 2018) DETROIT — Due to customer demand, Chevrolet is expanding the availability of the 6.2-liter V-8 engine within its full-size SUV lineup by introducing the Tahoe and Suburban Premier Plus special editions.  

The 6.2L V-8 was first made available in the Chevy full-size SUV lineup on the 2018 Tahoe RST 6.2L Performance Package. The engine recently debuted on the 2019 Suburban RST 6.2L Performance Package, which is now on sale at Chevrolet dealerships nationwide.
