Nissan invests $170 million in assembly plants to build all-new Altima

(August 24, 2018) SMYRNA, Tenn. — Nissan North America has announced a $170 million investment in its Smyrna, Tenn., and Canton, Miss., assembly plants to support production of the 2019 Altima. Ford recalling EV charging cables over fire risk

(August 23, 2018) DETROIT — Ford is recalling 49,197 EV charging cables in the U.S. over a fire risk, the company said Wednesday. Ford warned that using the 120-volt cord with an AC outlet that is worn out, damaged or not on a "dedicated circuit" may heighten the temperature on the wall outlet and possibly lead to a fire.
