(March 3, 2024) It seems the off-road craze has invaded the auto industry, and as the temperature for off-road vehicles reaches a fever pitch most manufactures have added a rugged go-anywhere appearance — with a measure of off-road equipment — to their SUV lineups. Subaru is on board with this trend adding the Wilderness package to several products including the new compact Crosstrek, mid-sized Outback and compact Forester.

(February 25, 2024) Ford has had some bright and profitable ideas in recent times — the two biggest were the development of a small pickup truck called the Maverick that can be purchased for under 30 grand, and the resurrection of the iconic Bronco off-road vehicle as a modern interpretation of a go-anywhere body-on-frame truck in direct competition with the Jeep Wrangler.

(February 18, 2024) Over the past two years I have driven the entire crop of Mazda's crossover SUVs — the CX-5, CX-50, CX-90 and CX-30. All are excellent choices depending on your needs. But hands down the smaller CX-30T is the cream of the crop for me. First, I have always enjoyed driving smaller vehicles and second, the CX-30 offers a delectable blend of performance, handling, creature comforts and — not least — room for four adults.

(February 8, 2024) Shortly after Acura, Honda's luxury division relaunched its iconic Integra nameplate the company sent us the A-Spec trim level for our review testing. After a week behind the wheel we came away impressed with its attractive styling, long list of standard features, strong technology and driver assist features. It was essentially a Honda Civic Is dressed in prom clothes.

(February 4, 2024) Volkswagen hit on a "just right" compact sedan in 2019 with its current generation Jetta and it carries on with incremental changes in 2024. The Jetta is the last sedan standing in Volkswagen's U.S. lineup, and lucky for value-seeking cash-strapped families with a couple of children, it's still being sold as a viable alternative for the more expensive crossover vehicles that now populate the automotive landscape.
