Honda recalls 1.2 million vehicles over faulty backup camera



(June 23, 2023) WASHINGTON —  Honda is recalling nearly 1.2 million vehicles in the U.S. because the backup camera might not display an image while in reverse. The recall covers the 2018-2023 Honda Odyssey minivan, 2019-23 Passport midsize crossover and 2019-22 Pilot midsize crossover.

Utah trucks in retirement



This 1935 Dodge work truck rests in retirement next to a Ford Model T truck in Utah. In 1933, Dodge started using a Plymouth "small block" flathead six or a bigger "big block" DeSoto.Chrysler six in its trucks. The big block six made 70 horsepower and 130 pound-feet of torque. These style trucks were made from 1933 through 1938. The so-called "Job Rated" trucks were built from 1939 through 1947.

BMW Motorrad celebrates one millionth GS with boxer engine



(June 22, 2923) MUNICH, Germany — The one millionth GS equipped with a boxer engine rolled off the production line at the BMW Motorrad plant in Berlin-Spandau this week — a BMW R 1250 GS. BMW motorcycles have been manufactured in Berlin since 1969 and the BMW Motorrad GS models with boxer engines since 1980.

Ford announces a new disaster relief initiative



$5.8 million investment includes fleet
of vehicles for storm-ravaged areas


(June 21, 2023) DEARBORN, Mich. — Ford Motor Company, the Ford Fund and Team Rubicon announce Team Rubicon Powered by Ford, a new disaster relief initiative that will serve the growing number of communities across the United States that are impacted by hurricanes, tornadoes, earthquakes and wildfires. According to studies, 90% of U.S. counties experienced a federal climate disaster between 2011-2021.
