Chevrolet Camaro SS joins Dubai police force

(May 8, 2013) DUBAI — The Chevrolet Camaro SS has joined the Dubai Police fleet of vehicles — the first Camaro to be used by a police force in the Middle East.

Powered by a 6.2-liter V8 engine, the Camaro SS boasts a power output of 426 horsepower and a maximum torque of 567 Nm. With a top speed of 250 km/h and acceleration of 0-100 km/h in 4.7 seconds, the Camaro should be a good addition to Dubai Police force.

(May 7, 2013) We were a bit apprehensive when a 2013 Chevrolet Sonic RS showed up for our 800-mile round-trip to a famous South Carolina resort island. We weren't apprehensive about the Sonic, which we had experienced in 2012, but about its size. We needed something that could haul four adults to various eating places and attractions around the island without compromising such things as leg room and comfort.
