Hyundai achieves automatic emergency braking goal ahead of schedule



(November 2, 2021) FOUNTAIN VALLEY, Calif. — During the past year, 98% of the Hyundai vehicles produced for sale in the U.S. now include four safety features as standard technology - Forward Collision-Avoidance Assist/Automatic Emergency Braking, Lane Keep Assist/Lane Following, and Driver Attention Warning. Hyundai’s Automatic Emergency Braking (AEB) technology vehicle offering has increased 2% versus one year prior and accomplishes a voluntary industry commitment two years in advance of the deadline.
