New Chevy Silverado will start nearly $700 less than outgoing model

(July 3, 2018) DETROIT — Chevrolet has announced that the 2019 Silverado LT, which it says is larger, more capable, and more fuel efficient, will and feature a starting price nearly $700 less than the outgoing 2018 model.

“For more than 100 years, Chevrolet has developed a reputation for building trucks that offer incredible performance, capability and value,” said Brian Sweeney, U.S. vice president of Chevrolet.

Toyota joins study on workforce impact from automated vehicles

(July 2, 2018) ANN ARBOR, Mich. — The Toyota Research Institute (TRI) is contributing $75,000 to the American Center for Mobility (ACM) analysis of automated vehicles’ impact on driving-related jobs. ACM’s study, titled "Preparing the Workforce for Automated Vehicles," is being conducted by Michigan State University in collaboration with Texas A&M Transportation Institute.
