Servo completes Oahu's first publicly accessible hydrogen station

(July 14, 2018) HONOLULU — Servco Pacific Inc. (Servco) held a ceremony Friday to mark the completion of Oahu’s first publicly accessible hydrogen station, located at Servco’s corporate offices in Mapunapuna. Later this month, Servco will begin to lease the Toyota Mirai hydrogen fuel cell vehicle.

“Our hydrogen station will help show Hawaii residents how fuel cell vehicles can make a real impact on our sustainability goals,” said Mark Fukunaga, chairman and CEO of Servco.

Schedule of events listed for annual Sturgis Motorcycle Rally

(July 13, 2018) The annual Sturgis (South Dakota) motorcycle rally begins Friday, Aug. 3, and continues through Sunday, Aug. 11. The City of Sturgis has published a tentative schedule of events for the this year's motorcycle celebration in the Black Hills.

500,000 riders, concert fanatics, and street-food enjoyers attend the Sturgis Motorcycle Rally every year. Sturgis is located in the Black Hills of South Dakota, only minutes away from Mount Rushmore, Crazy Horse, Devils Tower, Custer State Park, and some of the most scenic riding in the country.

BMW Motorrad announces upgrades and changes for MY 2019

(July 13, 2018) MUNICH, Germany — Model year 2019 sees a number of model revision measures included in the BMW Motorrad program. The models can be ordered from all BMW Motorrad partners in the new configuration starting in August.

New comfort turn indicators for increased user-friendliness and safety become standard equipment. As part of the model revision, comfort turn indicators will be included in the standard trim of most BMW Motorrad models (exceptions: C 650 Sport, C 650 GT, G 310 GS, G 310 R, F 800 R, F 800 GT, S 1000 RR and S 1000 R). Depending on road speed, various reset conditions apply with the new comfort turn indicators; previously turn indicator deactivation was based on a fixed time or distance.

Rolls-Royce announces strong half-year sales

(July 12, 2018) PHOENIX — The Dodge Charger is America’s most frequently searched collector car and ties with the Ford Mustang as the country’s most popular muscle car, according to two new reports issued today by ClassicCars.com, a website for researching and purchasing classic automobiles and trucks.

B-Series Dodge pickup in retirement



Dodge built the B-series pickup truck from 1948-53, and you can distinguish the 1951 through1953 models by their "Job Rated" badge on the grille. The 1953 model was the first to get a fully automatic transmission, dubbed the Truck-O-Matic. Dodge started selling "Job Rated" trucks in 1939, aimed at getting the customer the truck that fit the job for which it was purchased. The Job Rated designation carried through to the mid-50s when it was dropped. This circa 1951-53. Dodge pickup was discovered in a field in eastern North Carolina.
