Kona Iron Man Edition makes global debut at 2018 San Diego Comic-Con

The Kona Iron Man Edition will be available to customers via a limited global production run.

Hyundai lowers price, increases value on Hyundai Sonata Plug-In Hybrid

(July 19, 2018) FOUNTAIN VALLEY, Calif. — The refreshed 2018 Hyundai Sonata Plug-In Hybrid adopts the same distinctive design of the recently released Sonata gasoline and Hybrid models while delivering 28 miles of all-electric range, feature enhancements and a lower starting price. The starting price for the 2018 Sonata Hybrid Plug-In is $34,135 including destination charge, a $1,350 reduction from the 2017 model.

Mecum Harrisburg auction to feature 1,000 classic and collector cars

(July 19, 2018) Mecum Auctions, the world’s largest collector-car auction company, will return to Harrisburg, Pa, Aug. 2-4 at the Pennsylvania Farm Show Complex with an estimated 1,000 classic and collector cars expected to cross the auction block. This is the fifth year that Mecum Auctions has staged a collector-car auction in Harrisburg, with last year’s event generating $21 million in sales after drawing bidders from 41 states.

Ford recalls 550,000 Fusion and Escape vehicles for rollaway risk

(July 19, 2018) Ford on Wednesday recalled nearly 550,000 2013-16 Fusion sedans and 2013-14 Escape crossovers for a potential rollaway risk because of faulty shifter cable bushings.

The automaker said the affected vehicles have bushings that could detach from the transmission, which could allow the transmission to be in a different gear from what the driver sees on the shifter. That could lead to the vehicle moving even when the driver thinks it's in park.

This Flxible Visicoach passenger bus was found languishing in an Arizona salvage yard. Flexible manufactured coaches and transit buses from 1913 through its closing in 1996. Flxible built 925 copies of the Visicoach — an update of its clipper-style buses from the '30s and '40s — from 1950 through 1956.

First North American McLaren Senna delivered to New York City customer

(July 19, 2018) NEW YORK — The first North American designation of McLaren’s most extreme road car ever built, the McLaren Senna, has been delivered to customer Michael Fux in New York City. Fux is an entrepreneur, philanthropist and renowned car collector known for his eclectic taste. Fux’s Senna features an extensive list of bespoke content specified through McLaren Special Operations.Perhaps most significant is the Full Visual Carbon Fibre Body, tinted in a custom emerald green color known as “Fux Green.”  Comprising 67 parts, the full body set takes almost 1,000 hours to produce.

Chevrolet gave the Houston Astros player his choice between the redesigned Camaro Coupe or the trail-ready Colorado ZR2.
