Dodge Dart in retirement



This abandoned 1967 Dodge Dart was discovered near Winchester, Tenn. The original Dodge Dart, which was built from 1960 through 1976, was on a compact car platform from 1963 onward after starting life as a full-sized car. The Dart was completely restyled in 1967 with a 115-horsepower slant six as the standard engine. In 1967, Dart came in two- and four-door sedans, a hardtop and a convertible.

First new Discovery Sport rolls off UK assembly line

The car will now make its way to Virgin Galactic’s headquarters, to be used by the team as they continue to prepare for the launch of the world’s first commercial space line.

Honored as the 2014 "Most Innovative Cloud Service" company, Don Douglas, a Flash Valet investor and mentor, was on-hand to accept the award by John Siefert, the CEO of Virgo Publishing and publisher of Channel Partners. The 2014 program was underwritten by Verizon.

Fiat Chrysler reports a year-over-year 6% sales increase in Europe

(October 17, 2014) LONDON — Led by Jeep with a 61% sales increase, Lancia at 13.2& and Fiat and Fiat at 4.2% Fiat Chrysler Automobiles posted an increase in September with sales up 6% to nearly 69,000 vehicles and market share in line with the same period in 2013 at 5.4%.

The Group achieved sales gains in all major European markets, with Italy up 4.7%, Germany 8.7%, France 2.9%, the UK 4.7% and Spain 27.9%. The Fiat 500 and Panda were once again the two top-selling vehicles in the European A segment, with a combined share of 28.7% for the year to date

Chevrolet previews performance-inspired SEMA cars

Chrysler recalls more than 900,000 vehicles

(October 16, 2014) Chrysler Group is recalling more than 900,000 cars and SUVs combined for potential safety problems that could cause fires. Chrysler said it is recalling about 470,000 cars and SUVs globally from model years 2011-14 and equipped with a 3.6-liter engine and a 160 amp alternator, according to the company and documents filed with the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration.

The alternator may suddenly fail, possibly causing a stall or fire and increasing the risk of a crash, according to NHTSA documents.

Silverado HD 'strong arms' the competition

(October 16, 2014) DETROIT — How tough are heavy-duty trucks? A recent frame-twisting test found that the use of roll-formed steel in its bed allowed the tailgate of the 2015 Silverado 2500HD pickup to be lowered on uneven terrain while greater twisting of one competitor's frame kept its tailgate from being lowered.
