Budget-conscious consumers can also easily compare gas prices within a county. When searching for the best price, the Portal will display lists of the top cities in a county with the cheapest and most expensive gas, allowing consumers to steer clear of high prices.

Consumers can access the gas price tool by clicking on the "Gas Prices" tab on zAutos.com. Users are then greeted with local gas stations and their respective prices. Users are also shown a 15 day moving average of local gas prices. In the right sidebar, users will find several widgets displaying useful gas information: national average gas prices, state average gas prices, county average gas prices and city average gas prices.

From the National Gas Prices page, users can access the current average gas prices in all individual 50 states across the U.S. They can track gas price trends in different states and cities through other pages of the application. The application has more than sixty thousand pages of gas price information.
