Nissan celebrates 13 years of building Habitat for Humanity homes

(August 2, 2018) NASHVILLE, Tenn. – Nissan North America continues its long-standing partnership with Habitat for Humanity with a $1 million donation to help build affordable, homes in partnership with families in need of decent housing. Nissan's contributions to Habitat for Humanity in North America amount to more than $15.5 million over the past 13 years.

"There is a growing need for affordable housing across the U.S.," said Nissan vice president of Corporate Development and Social Responsibility Rebecca Vest.

The majority of Nissan's 2018 donation will go toward the building costs of Habitat homes in locations where Nissan has an operational presence, for vehicle purchases for use by local Habitat organizations and sponsorship of the Jimmy & Rosalynn Carter Work Project.
