(December 2, 2020) WALWORTH, Wis. — Nearly 900 lots of tractors, vintage trucks, signs and farm relics crossed the auction block at the Gone Farmin’ Fall Premier in Davenport, Iowa, Nov. 19-21, and even in the face of unexpected, eleventh-hour changes, the event was a pronounced success with a 90% sell-through rate and $3.6 million in overall sales achieved.

Due to restrictions announced by the governor of Iowa within 24 hours of the auction’s slated start time, the Gone Farmin’ team was forced to make a sudden transition, taking what was planned as a live-auction event and turning it into a live-online auction just hours before the first item crossed the block.

The auction’s top sellers included a wide variety of both trucks and tractors. The list was notably led by a 1958 Chevrolet Apache 32 NAPCO Pickup  that grabbed the top sale spot with a final sale price of $68,200. A Minneapolis 22-44  became the auction’s top-selling tractor with a final sale price of $59,850. In addition, a 1972 Chevrolet K-10  rolled off the block bearing a sold sticker at $52,800, followed by a 1988 Mack DS 600  that sold for $47,300.

The auction also featured 13 private collections that were well received by bidders along with a wide selection of Road Art, including signs and other farm relics. Road Art sales were topped by a John Deere Farm Implements NOS double-sided porcelain sign  with a custom bracket; the rare sign sold for a total of $17,700. Another John Deere doubled-sided porcelain sign, this one boasting “Quality Farm Equipment,” followed in the second top seat among Road Art sales, bringing $14,160.
