(November 6, 2020) The J.D. Power 2020 U.S. Resale Value Awards, recognizing the best resale value across 25 model-level vehicle segments following three years of ownership, were announced this week. This is the third year J.D. Power has given these awards, which are based transaction data using customer insights. Included in this list is the model with the best overall resale value, the GMC Sierra 3500.

Crude oil drops to lowest price in five months

(November 3, 2020) Mounting concerns about the increase in global coronavirus cases and the reinstatement of lockdown policies in some countries has driven crude oil prices down to the lowest closing price — $35 a barrel — since June. In comparison, last year at this time crude was pricing at about $20 a barrel more expensive.

Bigger than Escape, smaller than Explorer, Ford Edge is right-size SUV

(November 2, 2020) While Ford has given its redesigned Escape crossover an advertising push recently, the Ford Edge remains a nice option for car shoppers looking for something just a tad bigger but don’t care about three-row seating. Around since its debut as a 2007 model, the 2020 Edge slots in between the Escape and familiar Ford Explorer in the company’s SUV fleet and though it would seem a third-row could be squeezed in, thankfully the company has avoided that temptation and provided pretty good cargo space behind the second row.
