Viper Motorcycle Co. to hold 'Black Diamond Edition' party

(September 14, 20120 AUBURN, Ala. — Viper Motorcycle Company HAS announced its Texas launch party Sept. 25 for its "Black Diamond Edition" Diamondback. The event will be co-hosted by Gottspeed Racing, Gruene Harley-Davidson and Javelina Harley-Davidson.

This exclusive, invitation only, event will take place at Pat O'Briens from 7 until 9 p.m. with several of the special edition Viper Diamondbacks on display. The party will be a live media broadcast featuring live music and other special events.

The "Black Diamond Edition" Diamondback is a special edition motorcycle, designed and developed for the Mecum 25th Anniversary Auction in Indianapolis in May. The auction was a huge success and Viper is currently building a limited edition run of 25 numbered and badged "Black Diamonds."  Ownership of a "Black Diamond" will entitle you to membership into a very exclusive club of motorcycle enthusiasts who prefer high performance, innovative styling, and a distinctive brand of motorcycle.

Rugger Gottsacker, co-owner of Gruene Harley-Davidson and Javelina Harley-Davidson, had this to say:  "We sold our first Viper Diamondback during our customer appreciation event at Gruene Harley-Davidson last month to a very happy rider, Eric Talley. With that success, I wanted to get the Viper 'Black Diamond Edition' out in front of a lot of people and this launch party was my way of getting it done."
