It slots between the existing base LX trim and up-market EX trim level. Regardless of trim level, all Fit models get an updated infotainment system, and greater availability of Honda’s Sensing suite of advanced safety and driver assistive technologies.

It encompasses different fuel powertrains including a hydrogen-powered electric car, a fully electric vehicle, and a plug-in hybrid.  For now, the hydrogen-powered electric car is only available in California, and only as a leased vehicle. The all-electric model is only available in California and Oregon, while the plug-in is for sale nationwide.

However, designers at Hyundai elected to go with a mid-cycle refresh instead. But, this refresh is about as close to a redesign as you can get without changing the engines.
