Hyundai reveals smarter, more capable 2025 Tucson SUV



Cabin upgrade includes new

(March 30, 2024) NEW YORK — An updated 2025 Hyundai Tucson continues to build upon its successful Sensuous Sportiness design identity with a more commanding front and rear appearance, updated lighting signatures, new alloy wheel designs and a significantly redesigned interior. A plethora of new and enhanced driver comfort, convenience and safety technologies have also been added. 2025 Tucson 2.5L models will arrive at U.S. dealerships in June, while 1.6L turbo hybrid and plug-in hybrid models will be available late summer.

Mitsubishi and Nissan team on EV, pickup, plug-in hybrid



(March 30, 2024) ATSUGI, Japan — Nissan and Mitsubishi are teaming up on U.S. products. Nissan will launch its first North America plug-in hybrid, based on a system engineered by Mitsubishi. And Mitsubishi will launch a local product using Nissan's electric vehicle technology, according to Automotive News.

An available turbocharged engine amps up the fun-to-drive quotient and standard multi-link rear suspension on the GT-Line (2.0 and 1.6 turbo) offers a responsive driving experience.



Mustang celebrates 60 with can’t-miss owner event April 17

Kia recalls 427,000 Tellurides over roll away risk



(March 29, 2024) WASHINGTON — Kia America is recalling about 427,000 Telluride vehicles in the U.S. over a potential defect that could cause those vehicles to roll away while in park. The recall covers 2020-24 Telluride large crossovers. The intermediate shaft and right front driveshaft on those vehicles might not be fully engaged because of "suspected improper assembly by the supplier," according to a recall report submitted Tuesday to NHTSA.

Rambler American uncovered



The Rambler American is a compact car that was manufactured by the American Motors Corporation (AMC) between 1958 and 1969. This first-generation Rambler American compact station wagon was manufactured from 1958 through 1960, possibly an answer to the smaller models from the Big Three. The only engine was a 195.6 cu in (3.2 L) flathead six producing 90 hp.  It was available in two trims, a base Deluxe model at $1,789 (equivalent to $19,210 in 2024) allowing AMC to claim it to be the lowest-priced car made in America as well as a Super trim version for $1,874, offering more "luxuries." This first-gen Super wagon was found along U.S. 301 in northern Florida.

Volkswagen will offer 2025 ID.7 in two trim levels in U.S.



(March 28, 2024) RESTON, Va. — Volkswagen of America has announced the offer structure for the 2025 ID.7, the first all-electric Volkswagen in the near-luxury sedan segment. The ID.7 will be offered stateside in two trims — Pro S and Pro S Plus — with an 82 kWh battery and 282 horsepower and 402 pound-feet of torque on rear-wheel drive models; all-wheel-drive models will have maximum horsepower of 335. Range and pricing will be announced closer to launch in Q3.

Enhanced 2025 Hyundai Santa Cruz makes world debut

(March 28, 2024) NEW YORK — Hyundai has unveiled an enhanced 2025 Santa Cruz Sport Adventure Vehicle in a world debut at the New York International Auto Show. Santa Cruz offers redesigned exterior and interior surfaces along with new infotainment and additional advanced driver assistance systems. The 2025 Santa Cruz, designed in California, arrives at Hyundai dealerships this summer.
