On the street since 1956



This 1956 Chevrolet pickup was caught in the wild still doing duty for nearly 70 years.  Chevrolet gave its pickup a new body style in 1955 that carried through to 1959. These trucks were labeled Task-Force and came with six different engine sizes including two inline six engines and four of V-8 configuration. The Task-Force trucks replaced the Advance Design and in 1960 were replaced with the C/K Series.

(January 24, 2024) American Honda celebrated a new calendar year this week by revealing its full line of sport side-by-sides, with seven versions offered across two- and four-seat configurations. Since its introduction in 2019, the Honda Talon has offered off-road enthusiasts a highly capable platform for navigating all types of challenging terrain, with X versions tailored for wooded two-track and R iterations ready for rugged desert trails.

One hundred-percent of the hammer price will benefit  Building Homes for Heroes. Built in partnership with Mattel as the life-size version of the Mattel RealTruck toy.

Electric motorcycle builder Ryvid looks for growth in 2024



(January 22, 2024) Electric Light Mobility company Ryvid has been on a mission to produce more efficient, lightweight, eco-friendly vehicles since its inception in 2021. After creating a prototype of its first product — the Anthem electric motorcycle — in June 2022, Ryvid delivered the first production version of its affordable, highway-capable electric commuter motorcycle in September 2023 and is now in higher rate production at its new factory facility in San Bernardino, Calif.

Nissan may pull popular Rogue from U.S. plant in Tennessee



(January 22, 2024) Nissan has told suppliers it is considering moving U.S. production of the next-generation Rogue crossover to Japan if the automaker cannot lower its purchasing costs, according to Automotive News. The Rogue, Nissan's bestselling U.S. model, is built in Smyrna, Tenn., and Kyushu, Japan. The compact crossover accounts for one-third of Nissan's sales in its largest market.
