Mercedes-Benz 540 K Special Roadster is 'Best of Show' at Pebble Beach

(August 22, 2023) A Mercedes-Benz 540 K Special Roadster (W 29) won the prestigious "Best of Show" title at the 2023 Pebble Beach Concours d'Elegance Sunday. The sporty luxury car prevailed over a top-class field of exclusive classic cars in the jury vote at the final event of Pebble Beach Automotive Week. This victory is the 10th "Best of Show" title for a Mercedes-Benz vehicle since the start of the Pebble Beach Concours d'Elegance in 1950.

(August 18, 2023) CREWE, England — Bentley Motors and The Little Car Company have unveiled a road-legal, 85 per cent scale recreation of the most famous Bentley in the world. "Blower Jnr," a recreation of the 1929 4½-liter Supercharged Team Car No. 2 in Bentley’s Heritage Collection, is the first road-legal car from The Little Car Company and the most sophisticated city car ever built.

A used up Samurai



The Samurai was the first four-wheeled vehicle Suzuki sold in the U.S. beginning in the mid 80s. The U.S. version had a carbureted 1.3-liter overhead-cam four-cylinder delivering 63 horsepower and 74 lb-ft of torque. It was noisy and slow — MotorTrend clocked it to 60 mph in 16.9 seconds. This wore out example resides in eastern North Carolina.

GM invests in AI and battery materials innovator Mitra Chem
