Renewable energy generation begins at Electrify America Solar Glow 1

(August 16, 2023) SAN BERNARDINO, Calif. — Electrify America announced today the start of commercial operation for the new 75 Megawatt (MW) Electrify America Solar Glow 1 solar photovoltaic renewable energy generation project in San Bernardino County, Calif. announced last year. Electrify America Solar Glow 1 is the result of a 15-year virtual power purchase agreement (VPPA) with developer Terra-Gen.

American Honda announces partnership with TrueTimber



(August 16, 2023) American Honda, the sole distributor of Honda motorcycles, scooters, ATVs and side-by-sides, today revealed a partnership with TrueTimber, the industry-leading camouflage brand, that will see the companies collaborating on future projects. The two brands have already worked together in the past, for example partnering on special editions of Honda Pioneer and Talon side-by-side models featuring the TrueTimber Viper Urban Camo pattern. Honda advances recycling initiative using discarded Honda uniforms



(August 14, 2023) Honda associates put a lot into the products they make, now including the shirts right off their backs. Honda is advancing a recycling initiative that takes uniforms worn by associates at its U.S. manufacturing and R&D facilities and transforms them into sound-absorbing insulation for use in Honda and Acura automobiles. This program diverts approximately 45,000 pounds of uniforms from reaching landfills each month as Honda works toward its commitment to use 100% sustainable materials in its products in the future.
