CLE Coupe — Mercedes-Benz reveals new independent series



(July 6, 2023) Mercedes-Benz is continuing its long tradition of sporty, elegant dream cars with a new, independent series. The new CLE Coupe uses the conceptual and technical innovations of the C-Class and E-Class. With its expressive design, exclusive comfort features for maximum individuality and confident, sporty driving performance, the new two-door coupe raises the bar for its segment. The 2024 Mercedes-Benz CLE Coupe will arrive in U.S dealerships in early 2024. The CLE Cabriolet will follow for open-air connoisseurs.

AIM EV Sport 01 to make debut at Goodwood Festival of Speed



(July 5, 2023) NAGOYA, Japan — A new name in electric vehicles is set to make its dynamic debut at the upcoming Goodwood Festival of Speed. Designed by SN Design Platform, an independent design company lead by renowned automotive designer Shiro Nakamura, the AIM EV Sport 01 is a concept vehicle developed by the AIM Company Limited based in Nagoya, Japan. First revealed to the public in April, the AIM EV Sport 01 is undergoing testing and evaluation for a potential limited series production run.

Kia America posts best-ever first half sales in company history



(July 4, 2023) IRVINE, Calif. — Continuing momentum from 2022’s record retail sales, Kia America set an all-time first half volume record of 394,333 vehicles, up 18-percent over the first-half of 2022. Kia’s retail-only sales total for the past six months was 362,933, an increase of 17-percent over the first half of 2022. Kia closed June with 70,495 total units, an 8-percent increase over the same period last year, marking the 11th straight month of year-over-year sales growth.

High schoolers take off July 16 for 2023 Solar Car Challenge



(July 4, 2023) FORT WORTH, Texas — More than 20 teams of high school students from across the United States are preparing to set off on a 1,400-mile trek from Fort Worth, Texas, to Palmdale, Calif., driving cars they designed, engineered and built powered by solar energy. Teams will depart Fort Worth in the 30th anniversary Solar Car Challenge on July 16, arriving in Palmdale on July 23.
