This Ford one of a million plus



This 1953 Ford was discovered in Utah, one of 1,247,542 copies built that year making it one of the most successful cars in Ford history. Even at that number, Ford trailed Chevrolet by 99,000 units in 1953. The full-sized Ford was refreshed for 1952 and carried over for 1953. The '52 model was the first Ford with a curved one-piece windshield.

Aston Martin celebrates a century of A3 by building tribute sports car



(June 24, 2021) GAYDON, UK — Aston Martin is celebrating the centenary of its oldest surviving car – ‘A3’ – by building a modern day tribute based on one of its most dynamic and exhilarating series production sports cars, the new Vantage Roadster.  It is 100 years since chassis No.3, now commonly known as ‘A3,’ rolled gracefully out of the marque’s then production facility at Abingdon Road in Kensington, London.

Kia America announces 2022 Soul starting at $20,365



(June 24, 2021) IRVINE, Calif. — With sales of Kia’s iconic Soul up nearly 20 percent year-on-year, the 2022 model arrives largely as a carryover with minor visual enhancements, the most apparent being the bold new Kia badge on the hood, liftgate and wheel center caps. The 2022 Soul's starting price including destination charge is $20,365. The Soul tops out at $28,965 for the 1.6-liter turbo model.

Volvo Cars opens car university campus in South Carolina



(June 24, 2021) RIDGEVILLE, S.C. — A grand opening celebration was held Wednesday for the new Volvo Car University and Volvo Car South Carolina Technical Center buildings at the company’s Ridgeville, S.C., campus. Volvo Car Group executives Håkan Samuelsson, Javier Varela, Anders Gustafsson and David Stenström were joined by Governor Henry McMaster and Secretary of Commerce Bobby Hitt to officially open the facilities.

Hyundai Motor Manufacturing celebrates launch of the 2022 Santa Cruz



(June 23, 2021) MONTGOMERY, Ala.  — Hyundai Motor Manufacturing Alabama (HMMA) celebrated the launch of the all-new 2022 Santa Cruz Sport Adventure Vehicle on Tuesday, June 22. The Santa Cruz joins the Sonata and Elantra sedans and Santa Fe and Tucson SUVs on the Montgomery assembly line. This addition marks the first time HMMA has produced five vehicles at once.
