This 1953 Ford was discovered in Utah, one of 1,247,542 copies built that year making it one of the most successful cars in Ford history. Even at that number, Ford trailed Chevrolet by 99,000 units in 1953. The full-sized Ford was refreshed for 1952 and carried over for 1953.
