FCA to expand production capacity in Michigan to grow core brands

(February 27, 2019) LONDON — Fiat Chrysler Automobiles has confirmed plans to invest $4.5 billion in five of its existing Michigan plants, and to work with Detroit and Michigan on building a new assembly plant within city limits. The move would increase capacity to meet growing demand for its Jeep and Ram brands, including production of two new Jeep-branded white space products, as well as electrified models. The proposed projects would create nearly 6,500 new jobs.

First Kia Telluride crosses Brunswick docks for Arabian Peninsula

(February 27, 2019) BRUNSWICK, Ga. —The first of Kia's new Telluride vehicles was loaded for export onto the Roll-on/Roll-off vessel Sirius on Tuesday at the Port of Brunswick. The eight-person SUVs are destined for ports around the Arabian Peninsula.

New Chevy design for 1953

Chevrolet was completely redesigned for 1953 coming in three trim levels — base One-Fifty, mid-level Ten-Ten and top Bel Air. The standard engine was a 216 cubic-inch, 3.5-liter inline six cylinder  making 92 horsepower. The redesigned Chevy was a big hit based on its annual sales of 1.34 million.
