MINI USA highlights cargo space and room for adventure in ad campaign

(September 13, 2018) WOODCLIFF LAKE, N.J. —  MINI USA today launched the new “Created in a Countryman” creative campaign to help showcase the spacious and versatile cargo space of the 2019 Mini Countryman. To do so in a unique and innovative way, MINI USA tapped stop-motion animator Kirsten Lepore of “hi stranger” fame and diorama-duo Nix + Gerber to create short films in the cargo space of the biggest, most adventurous Mini ever built.

Petersen Automotive Museum to present new art, automobile exhibits

(September 13, 2018) LOS ANGELES  — On Saturday, September 29, 2018, the Petersen Automotive Museum will debut the first in a series of “California-themed” exhibitions to kick off its 25th anniversary in 2019 on Sept. 29. Titled “Auto-Didactic: The Juxtapoz School,” the display will examine a mix of art pieces and automobiles from the artists of “Juxtapoz Magazine,” who have helped redefine the role and imagery of automobiles in contemporary art.

Chevrolet's new app — Attempting to curb risky driving

(September 13, 2018) DETROIT — Chevrolet is launching a new smartphone app called Call Me Out to help remind new and experienced drivers to keep their eyes on the road and put their phones down while they are driving. According to a recent Research Now survey, 84 percent of people admit that distracted driving while handling a phone is dangerous, yet 90 percent of drivers have done it.

All-electric Audi e-tron to feature vehicle-integrated toll module technology

(September 12, 2018) HERNDON, Va. — Making its global debut in San Francisco on Sept. 17, the all-electric Audi e-tron will be the first vehicle from the brand to launch with the integrated toll payment technology. The Integrated Toll Module (ITM) is a toll transponder built into the vehicle's rearview mirror, allowing drivers to access select toll roads in the U.S. and in Canada.

ITM is another Audi first in vehicle-to-infrastructure (V2I) technology, allowing the car to communicate and interact with its environment.

Ford to present family of electrified Transit products in Hanover, Germany
