The two-day auction at the Portland Expo Center achieved $7.9 million in overall sales totals topped by a 1968 Chevrolet Yenko Camaro that brought $395,000.

In order to drive the development of the brand, Volvo Cars also announced today that Thomas Ingenlath, senior vice president Design at Volvo, will assume the position of Chief Executive Officer at Polestar. Kia derived musical inspiration for the name combining the words "Speedy" and "Tonic," referring to the first and last notes in the musical scale.
