Subaru debuts limited edition WRX STI and BRZ models

(June 9, 2017) CHERRY HILL, N.J. — Subaru of America has announced two new performance models — the 2018 Subaru WRX STI Type RA and 2018 Subaru BRZ tS. Both are performance focused derivatives engineered by Subaru Tecnica International, Inc. specifically for driving enthusiasts. Each vehicle is limited to 500 units and vehicles will arrive at Subaru retailers in early 2018.

Best start ever for Ford Escape, Lincoln MKC sales boosts Louisville plant

Honda targeting introduction of Level 4 automated driving by 2025

This new goal builds upon earlier-announced plans for Honda and Acura vehicles to have highly-automated freeway driving capability (SAE Level 3) by 2020. Mecum vintage motorcycle auction brings in $4.4 million in Las Vegas

(June 8, 2017) LAS VEGAS — Mecum’s first foray into Nevada for a spring season vintage motorcycle auction in Las Vegas was a pronounced success with 339 motorcycles hammering sold June 2-3 for an 80-percent sell-through rate and $4.4 million in overall sales.

Highlighted by the $95,000 sale of a gorgeously restored 1950 Vincent Black Shadow, top sales at the auction were strong and showed off the great variety of marques available.

First Honda Civic Type R to be auctioned ahead of arrival at dealerships

(June 8, 2017) The very first 2017 Honda Civic Type R in the world, Vehicle Identification Number (VIN) 01, is being auctioned online with all proceeds benefitting the Pediatric Brain Tumor Foundation. The Civic Type R is the fastest, most powerful Honda of all time produced for the U.S. and the first Honda Civic Type R to be sold in America.

The second-generation Chevrolet C/K pickup was built from 1967-1972. The 1971 model was given several styling updates including a new "egg crate" grille design. This 1971 C/K found in North Carolina appears to be a receptacle for junk. One of the '71 updates was the inclusion for the first time of an AM/FM radio.
