Ducati wins Brand Recognition Award in Milan

(January 20, 2012) In a ceremony hosted at the Palazzo Mezzanotte in Milan, Italy, home to the Italian stock market, Ducati has received the Brand Recognition Award from the UK Government during the UK-Italy Business awards, officially marking the Italian motorcycle manufacturer’s outstanding business performance.
 

Ducati UK has record-breaking sales year in 2011

(January 17, 2012) Ducati UK starts the New Year on the back of a record breaking 2011 which not only saw significant increases in sales but also ‘best ever’ figures across the board.

Ducati UK closed 2011 with its best sales result since 2003 with 2,345 units sold and in a challenging economic environment recorded best ever market share figures in the UK. On the back of these results it also became the fastest growing Motorcycle brand in the UK with motorcycle sales up 15.3%.

Improvement seen in overall motorcycle customer satisfaction

Power and Associates 2011 U.S. Motorcycle Competitive Information Study released this week.

Honda GL1800 motorcycles recalled over brake problem

(December 4, 2011) American Honda is recalling certain model 2001-2010 and 2012 model year GL 1800 motorcycles over a potential defect relating to motor vehicle safety exists in the secondary master cylinder.

Honda says that the compensating port hole inside the secondary master cylinder — part of the combined-braking system — can become blocked due to (1) stacking of tolerances in manufacturing and (2) sufficient swelling of the primary pressure cup inside the master cylinder.

World Ducati week at Misano June 21-24

Ducati offering 4.99% interest on all 2011 models
