Fisker delivers first all-electric Ocean SUV



(May 6, 2023) LOS ANGELES — Fisker, driven by a mission to create the world's most emotional and sustainable electric vehicles, has announced that the first customer has taken delivery of the brand-new Fisker Ocean all-electric SUV. The owner, a resident of Denmark, received their vehicle from Fisker Chairman and CEO Henrik Fisker at the recently opened Fisker Center+ facility in Copenhagen, Denmark.

BMW announces Do Not Drive order for older vehicles with Takata airbags



(May 5, 2023) WOODCLIFF LAKE, N.J.  —  In the interest of customer safety, BMW of North America has pro-actively issued an immediate Do Not Drive warning for approximately 90,000 2000-2006 BMW 3 Series (E46) including M3, 2000-2003 5 Series (E39) including M5, and 2000-2004 X5s (E53) equipped with certain driver’s front airbag inflators manufactured by Takata.

Volvo Car announces more range for 2024 EV lineup



(May 4, 2023) MAHWAH, N.J.  —  The fully electric Volvo C40 Recharge and XC40 Recharge models have been updated for the 2024 model year to offer increased range. Range improvements come thanks to two new powertrains offered on both the C40 Recharge and XC40 Recharge. The addition of rear-wheel drive variants — the first time in 25 years that Volvo Car USA is offering a rear-wheel drive product — provide improved range while maintaining the safety and secure driving dynamics typical of Volvo cars.

Jeep celebrates Jeep Beach with 30,000-plus Jeeps on Daytona Beach



(May 3, 2023) DAYTONA BEACH, Fla. — Jeep celebrated the 20th anniversary of Jeep Beach in Daytona Beach this past weekend. The event drew more than 230,000 attendees and 30,000-plus Jeep SUVs at the highly anticipated annual event.  Making an appearance on the beach was the Jeep brand’s new 2024 Jeep Wrangler 4xe and 392, as well as the Wrangler Magneto 3.0 EV Concept and the 1978 Jeep Cherokee 4xe Concept, which led the Jeep Beach Parade on April 30 with Jim Morrison, senior vice president and head of Jeep brand North America, at the wheel of the Magneto. 
 

Parkopedia expands Mercedes partnership and global parking services
