(April 5, 2021) Toyota sales rebounded and Honda, Subaru, Kia and Hyundai set U.S. records last month, signaling the industry’s robust advance from a pandemic-wracked early 2020, even as supply chain woes disrupt output. First-quarter volume rose at 3.7 percent at General Motors, edged up 0.6 percent at Ford and 5 percent at FCA US (Stellantis).

The new app succeeds the BMW Connected app and builds on its seamless feature integration with several new functionalities, improved Amazon Alexa integration, and more. Customers can also manage their BMW Financial Services accounts through the My BMW App. The My BMW App will become available to U.S. customers in mid-April.
 

New 4Motion system with torque vectoring brings new edge to 2022 VW Golf R

(April 5, 2021) HERNDON, Va. — The all-new 2022 Volkswagen Golf R is expected to arrive late this year will offer more power than any Golf R to date, with 315 horsepower and 310 pound-feet of torque. To ensure that power gets to the road properly, Volkswagen engineers have designed a new 4Motion all-wheel-drive system with rear-axle torque vectoring. This serves as the foundation for the updated handling abilities of the Golf R, delivering a new level of performance for its category.

The multimedia exhibit, which opened to the public in November 2019, celebrates Volkswagen’s history, both globally and locally, and showcases the design and construction of the vehicles of tomorrow.

2022 Porsche 911 GT3 to start at $162,450

(April 2, 2021) ATLANTA — Porsche announced changes today for the 2022 911 model line including upgrades to the car’s comfort and communications systems. Leading the 2022 911 model lineup is the new 911 GT3, the most focused and agile ‘992’ generation car yet.  The 2022 Porsche 911 GT3 is now available for U.S. customers to configure and order. The new model carries a starting MSRP of $162,450 including a $1,350 delivery fee. The 911 GT3 is expected to arrive in the U.S. as part of the 2022 model year, reaching dealers by the fall.
