Global demand for resto-mod vehicles drives Classic Recreations expansion



(November 24, 2020) DALLAS — Classic Recreations is in the midst of a major expansion including new car models, the hiring of additional personnel and an additional 24,000 square feet of manufacturing and showroom facilities in North Texas. This expansion will increase production of the reimagined classic muscle cars to meet growing demand worldwide, as well as accepting high performance restoration projects. To highlight this expansion, Classic Recreations recently gathered five vehicles from their lineup for a “Million Dollar Meeting of Legends” photo and video shoot in Dallas.

GM's Factory Zero becomes first U.S. auto plant to install 5G technology



(November 23, 2020) DETROIT — General Motors has announced that Factory ZERO, Detroit-Hamtramck Assembly Center, the company’s all-electric vehicle assembly plant, is the first automotive plant in the U.S. to install dedicated 5G fixed mobile network technology. Verizon’s 5G Ultra Wideband service is operating now at Factory ZERO, with its exponential increases in both bandwidth and speed supporting the ongoing transformation of the plant as it prepares to begin producing EVs in 2021.
