Audi cuts base price of 2021 e-tron EV by $8,800, increases range by 18 miles

(August 6, 2020) HERNDON, Va. — Audi has cut the entry price of its first battery-electric crossover, the e-tron, by $8,800 for the 2021 model year as the Germany luxury brand begins expanding its EV lineup while facing criticism that the e-tron's range is significantly less than rival Tesla. Audi said it would lower the price of the e-tron compact crossover to $66,995 including shipping, from $75,795 for the 2021 model year. The brand lowered the base price by $8,900, but increased the delivery charge year-over-year from $995 to $1,095.

The 1968 Chevrolet Chevelle marked the first year of the second-generation of the mid-sized Chevelle, which was introduced in 1964. This particular Chevelle, as advertised on its fender, came with Chevrolet's 5.7-liter 350 cubic inch small block V-8 engine. The stripped-out Chevy was found in a field in eastern North Carolina. Million-mile Nissan Frontier returns home to Smyrna

(August 5, 2020) CHICAGO — After more than a million miles of hard work, Brian Murphy's 2007 Nissan Frontier is headed home. Murphy has swapped his "Million-Mile" Frontier for a new 2020 Frontier at M'Lady Nissan in Crystal Lake, the same dealership where he bought his 2007 Frontier more than 13 years ago. The Million Mile Frontier will retire where it was assembled, the Nissan Smyrna Vehicle Assembly Plant in Smyrna, Tenn.

Jim Hackett out as CEO at Ford; Jim Farley to take the helm

(August 5, 2020) DEARBORN, Mich. — Ford Motor Company has announced that Jim Hackett, who has led the company’s transformation since 2017, plans to retire from the company. Jim Farley has been named the company’s new president and CEO and will join the board of directors, effective Oct. Ford says Hackett, 65, and Farley, 58, will work together on a smooth leadership transition over the next two months.

A modern way to buy a vehicle with no-touch signatures, open reviews
