Mecum Indianapolis auction to offer 2,000 collector cars

(May 3, 2018) Staged at the Indiana State Fairgrounds in Indianapolis since 2006, Dana Mecum’s Original Spring Classic was Mecum Auction’s first-ever collector-car auction in 1988 at the Rockford (Illinois) Airport and is today among the world’s largest such events.

Now in its 31st consecutive year, the Spring Classic auction will take place May 15-20 featuring an estimated 2,000 consignments from 49 states highlighted by nearly 30 private collections — many among the highest caliber of their kind.

Kia is official vehicle provider of 'One Lap of America' 2018

(May 2, 2018) IRVINE, Calif. — Kia Motors America has announced that the company will act as the official vehicle provider of the 35th Annual “One Lap of America” race, which starts Saturday, May 5, in South Bend, Ind., and travels 3,716 miles across 12 states before returning to South Bend on Saturday, May 12.

Buick builds global sales momentum throughout first quarter

(May 1, 2018) DETROIT — Coming off a strong 2017, Buick momentum continued into 2018’s first quarter with global sales up 9 percent year over year. This growth comes as new products such as the LaCrosse Avenir and updated Envision have begun arriving to customers globally, and amid the launch of an all-new family of Regals.

Demand for the Regal has grown rapidly in China since the new model launched last summer, with sales up 35 percent year over year, while Regal Sportback, GS and TourX (U.S. only) availability continues to ramp up in North America.
