Ram 1500 offers two new buzz models in sport trim

(March 13, 2015) AUBURN HILLS, Mich. — The Ram Truck brand announced this week that it will add two new Ram 1500 buzz models in Sport trim — the Ram 1500 Ignition Orange Sport and the Ram 1500 Black Sport.

New Honda ad campaign urges owners to complete airbag repairs

(March 12, 2015) TORRANCE, Calif. —  Honda has initiated a new, voluntary consumer information advertising campaign urging Honda and Acura owners to immediately check for open recalls and safety improvement campaigns, and to take affected vehicles to an authorized dealer for free repair as soon as possible.

This new effort builds on the comprehensive approach Honda has taken to identify, locate and contact registered owners with vehicles included in one or more recalls to replace Takata airbag inflators.

Toyota recalling 112,500 vehicles over safety issues

(March 12, 2015) Toyota said it was recalling about 112,500 vehicles in the U.S. due to possible safety issues. The recall affects about 110,000 Camry, Camry Hybrid, Highlander and Highlander Hybrid vehicles of model year 2015, RAV4 vehicles of model year 2014-2015, and 2,500 RAV4 EV vehicles of model year 2012-2014, the company said in a statement this week.

Toyota said components in the RAV4 EV vehicles being recalled might cause them to shift to "neutral" gear due to a software issue, increasing the risk of a crash.

BMW 328 to be honored in special class at Amelia Island Concours

BMW sets all-time February sales record

(March 11, 2015) MUNICH — The BMW Group achieved its best-ever February sales result with 151,952 BMW, MINI and Rolls-Royce brand vehicles delivered worldwide. That's a 7.6% increase from the 141,207 sold in February 2014. A record number of 294,112 automobiles have been delivered to customers since the start of the year — an increase of 7.3% compared with the same period last year.

Chrysler 300, Toyota Sienna win top Texas Auto Writers awards

(March 11, 2015) FORT WORTH, Texas — The Texas Auto Writers Association (TAWA) refused to let a day-long deluge of rain keep them from diligently test driving and evaluating 54 vehicles Monday, both on and off the Texas Motor Speedway Racetrack.  The 52 journalists attending the annual Auto Roundup chose the 2015 Chrysler 300 as Car of Texas, and the 2015 Toyota Sienna as the Family Car of Texas.
