GM joins Center for Automotive Research at Stanford

2014 BMW 5 Series gets updated styling, new-to-U.S. diesel engine

(May 19, 2013) WOODCLIFF LAKE, N.J. — The BMW 5 Series gets a refreshening for 2014. The enhanced 5-Series sedan and 5 Series Gran Turismo will go on sale in the U.S. in August. Modifications to the design, the addition of a new inline-6 BMW Advanced diesel engine for the sedan, and even more available equipment should raise the appeal of the BMW 5 Series family a notch higher.

One millionth Jeep Wrangler comes off Ohio assembly line

(May 18, 2013) TOLEDO, Ohio — The Jeep Wrangler is one of the most iconic vehicles in the world and Friday (May 17) the one-millionth JK model rolled off the assembly line at Chrysler Group’s Toledo, Ohio, Assembly Complex. Chrysler executives, plant employees, UAW representatives and supplier partners gathered at the end of the line to mark the occasion.

Andy Warhol's 1979 M1 Art Car to be centerpiece of BMW exhibit

(May 18, 2013) SARATOGA SPRINGS, N.Y. — Andy Warhol’s 1979 BMW M1 Art Car will be the center piece of the exhibition “BMW – The Ultimate Driving Machine,” which opens this weekend at the Saratoga Automobile Museum. The exhibition will also feature the BMW 3.0 CSL which won the Daytona 24 Hour race in 1976.

New web series takes classic cars out of garage and onto the open road

Ford Escape, Fusion accelerate 'super segment' share gains

GM Foundation pledges $500,000 to help Texas tornado victims

(May 17, 2013) DETROIT — The General Motors Foundation is pledging $500,000 to Habitat for Humanity to help victims of the recent tornadoes in five Texas counties. The funds will be used to help restore neighborhoods devastated by Wednesday’s storms.

New Volvo XC60 to be launched by Swedish House Mafia video

The video world premiered today. This song and video will also be the leading theme in Volvo's upcoming global launch campaign of the new Volvo XC60.
