Mustang, Wrangler win hottest car, 4X4 categories in SEMA Vehicles of 2014 awards

(November 5, 2014) LAS VEGAS — The winners of the 2014 SEMA Awards were announced today at the SEMA Show, recognizing the vehicles specialty-equipment manufacturers believe are the best for accessorization.

For the third year in a row the SEMA Award for Hottest Car was presented to the Ford Mustang. In the 4x4-SUV category, the Jeep Wrangler again took top honors. The Chevy Silverado pickup won in the Truck category and in the Sport Compact category the Honda Fit won the day.

New-car transaction prices up less than 1 percent, Kelley reports

(November 3, 2014) IRVINE, Calif. — The analysts at Kelley Blue Book today report the estimated average transaction price (ATP) for light vehicles in the United States was $33,361 in October 2014.  New-car prices have increased by $246 (up 0.6 percent) from October 2013, while rising $185 (0.7 percent) from last month.
