(November 23, 2013) LONDON — As luxury British sports car maker Aston Martin’s centenary year draws towards its close the company is unveiling a collection of unique artworks created to celebrate and document its 100 years in business.

More than 150 of the sport car maker’s owners, enthusiasts and advocates on Nov. 21 joined key figures from the London art world at the brand’s unique central London showcase — W-One — for the unveiling of the paintings created by  Aston Martin’s centenary artist-in-residence, James Hart Dyke.

Adventurer makes second attempt at coast-to-coast record

(November 14, 2013) Vintage Adventurer Rod Wade is making a second attempt on setting a new world record for driving a pre-war car from New York to California against the clock. Australian Rod and his co-driver Michael Flanders will make a second attempt on the 2,947mile journey in their 1930 Ford Model A, departing Staten Island at1 a.m. on Friday, Nov. 22 with the aim of reaching Venice Fishing Pier in under 60 hours, giving an estimated arrival time of the morning of Sunday, Nov. 24.

The world's first stretched E-Type Jaguar unveiled

(November 12, 2013) LONDON — The world’s first stretched E-Type has been unveiled and will go on show in London later this week at a major automotive awards ceremony. Built in 1968, the left hand drive Jaguar E-Type series 1 4.2 roadster has been stretched by four and a half inches during a major restoration carried out by Classic Motor Cars Limited of Bridgnorth (CMC).
