Ford sees hybrids as a profitable way forward

(May 31, 2024) WEST POINT, Ga.  — Thursday marked a historic milestone at Kia Georgia’s assembly plant in West Point as team members gathered to celebrate the start of assembly of the all-electric 2025 EV9 three-row SUV, the first saleable electric vehicle assembled in the state of Georgia.

Farming in the '20s

Manufactured by the International Harvester Co., the McCormick Deering name was used until 1948, when this line of tractors became McCormick. Optiq will bookend the EV portfolio while remaining true to Cadillac’s brand promise in a competitively priced luxury SUV. It will join the growing Cadillac EV lineup, which also includes Lyriq, Escalade IQ, Celestiq and next year, Vistiq.

F-150 Lightning-based SuperTruck to scale Pikes Peak

Toyota names first communities to receive DC fast chargers

(May 30, 2024) PLANO, Texas — Toyota, guided by its “Empact” vision to address equitable EV charging and mobility for all, has announced the first communities that will receive DC fast chargers (DCFC): Baldwin Park, Calif., and Sacramento, Calif. High-power 350kW chargers at each location are to be installed, owned and operated by EVgo, one of the nation’s largest public fast charging networks, and feature simultaneous charging. The California sites are targeted to be operational in 2025.
