Kia to show new Carens at Paris Motor Show

(July 26, 2012) Kia’s all-new Carens compact MPV will make its world premiere at the Paris Motor Show on Sept. 27. The Carens was sold in the U.S. as the Rondo from 2007 through 2009. No word on whether this new generation vehicle will be sold in North America.

With a completely fresh, sleek, cab-forward design, lower roofline, longer wheelbase, larger wheels and chrome beltline accent, the new Carens has been conceived around the theme "dynamic space."

The new Carens will combine striking looks with spacious functionality and an emotional appeal that has become a standard feature of Kia products.

The new Carens will be on display throughout the Paris Motor Show until the final public day on Oct.14.

The Carens was first marketed in 1999.
