Built on the SE and XSE grade, the Apex Edition uses the 2.0-liter Dynamic Force Engine and delivers 169-horsepower, a dynamically tuned suspension, a punchier bark with a sport-tuned exhaust and a factory-custom body package that accentuates the Corolla’s styling.

For the style conscious driver, the Corolla Nightshade Edition also returns for 2022. The L, LE and XLE grades also keep pace with stylish good looks and fuel-sipping 1.8-liter four-cylinder DOHC 16-Valve engine that produces 139 horsepower at 6,100 rpm and 126 lb.-ft. of torque at 3,900 rpm. The Corolla delivers plenty of smiles per gallon, bringing up to 40 EPA estimated MPG on the SE grade (with CVT).

The Toyota Safety Sense 2.0 suite of active safety systems comes standard on every Corolla sedan model.
