2014 Lexus CT 200h to make world debut at China auto show

(November 12, 2013) — The world premiere of the 2014 Lexus CT 200h will take place at the 2013 Guangzhou Motor Show in China on Nov. 21. When the CT 200h was introduced in 2010 it was the world’s first full hybrid luxury compact car.

This compact luxury hybrid receives a new Lexus “spindle grille,” one of several dynamic and sophisticated exterior styling changes implemented for 2014 model year. Other exterior changes include newly designed alloy wheels and a revised rear appearance with a more horizontal structure.

All other details about the upgraded CT 200h will be revealed at the upcoming Guangzhou show.

The current CT 200h has a fuel economy rating of 43 mpg city, 40 mpg highway and 42 combined. It is powered by 1.8-liter 4-cylinder engine in tandem with a pair of electric/motor generators making 134 horsepower.
